Ao colocar na taça ele se apresenta denso, com um tom rubi que mostra juventude, apesar dos quatro anos de safra. Nesse momento percebe-se que é um vinho com grande longevidade.
Os aromas trazem frutas negras, cassis, o frescor da Touriga Nacional, tudo isso sobre uma base especiarias. Ao longo da refeição ele foi abrindo e a harmonia entre madeira e fruta fica mais evidente. Não há sobreposição e estamos falando de um vinho que estagia 18 meses em barricas.
Na boca, um vinho complexo, muito elegante e persistente. Um cavalheiro que tem ótima presença e excelente estrutura. Traz também um fundo de alcaçuz e foi excelente companhia para o almoço.
